After the growing area was burgled last month Lovell Homes stepped up and offered support to replace every item stolen during the break-in.


They worked calling on partners to support Winchburgh Community Growing Group and the Winchburgh Builders Den, a part of Winchburgh Community Development Trust

Over £1,000 of equipment replaced for volunteers!

Ian Macintyre commented during the handover "I would like to thank Elaine and Lovell on behalf of the trust for replacing the items we had stolen".


John West added "While this was such a negative experience to all volunteers involved, Elaine and partners have transformed this into a positive outcome meaning we can continue to grow in Auldcathie District Park".
